Lord, when I doubt Your plan or question Your presence, forgive my lack of sight. Help me find assurance in the evidence of Your work all around me—the sick healed, the poor hearing good news. Strengthen my sometimes-faltering faith.

Joyful God, fill me with the gladness of this season. Help me to be patient in suffering and persistent in prayer, knowing that You are near. Open my eyes to the desert places in my life that are blooming with Your promise.
